Connie a beautiful Asian 
elephant who lived in  
Reid Park zoo in 2010. 
A truly stunning animal,
she taught me to see
many dramatic differences 
among Pachyderms. 
Wonder what it would be like to 
see “Connies” in the deserts and
washes around Tucson? Hmm.
